They are changing it from a closed system and making it more open so that suppliers and customers can relate to Nike. One of Nike’s problems is that its leadership and management style has become “leaders beyond borders” meaning leaders reach out to more than just their professional role to engage people on shared goals. By doing this smaller trade flows between some countries will be lost as they strive to meet this goal.
