Case Study of Canva’s Design School Content Marketing Strategy
Founded in 2013 by Melanie Perkins, Canva is an Australian startup who allowed users to design for free with a huge graphic store, diverse styles and features, and extremely simple manipulation. As of early 2020, Canva has grown strongly with more than 20 million users from 190 countries using the free version of the application on the Website platform.
Canva's blog has been in development since November 2014. Six months later in May 2018, we had recorded 2,457,779 visits, an average of 409,000 a month from the Content Marketing team. After this development effort from the Content Marketing team and a solid strategy for content marketing and social media marketing, Canva officially recorded for the first time in history the website reached 1 million visits in February 2016.
